There are several types of speakers that can be used with a home theater system that can suit many different situations and spaces. There is floor standing and bookshelf speakers which are said to produce the best sound due to performance matching. The downside is that they take up space. There are satellite speakers and they are used in conjunction with a subwoofer and usually hung around the room or placed on shelves these are great for those homes that do have space issues.
Another type of speakers is wall speakers, which are mounted in the wall and covered with paintable grills to match the walls and make them virtually invisible and less impeding. The final kind of speakers is on wall speakers, which are mounted on the wall, usually in combination with a flat screen TV.

3D TV is a new technology that uses a converter chip and special software in order to refresh the television image fast enough so that it is seen correctly by the eyes. The television emits either infrared or radio beams to special glasses that are worn by the viewer and images are rendered in three dimension.
This TV is usually used with the 3D Blu-Ray Player. The upside of this technology is that it provides an exciting new element to sports events, TV programs, movies, and video games. However, the downside is that the 3D Blu-ray movies are not standardized and certain movies only work on certain systems. This technology is very expensive because it is new and wearing glasses may be constricting to some viewers.
